LA Golf Shafts touts the Trono as a “Unicorn” of a shaft that actually launches high while maintaining low spin.
The Trono, co-designed with Bryson DeChambeau, has a middle section stiffer than any shaft on Tour but is less rigid in the tip for better spin and launch and softer in the butt for better feel.
The TRONO is designed with a unique EI profile to achieve extreme stability and control while still providing outstanding feel and optimal launch conditions. The stiffness profile features a middle third that is significantly stiffer than the softer butt end. The tip, although stiff, is not overly rigid and still provides an optimal low/mid launch with less spin and increased optimized ball-speed.
