AV Hybrid/Iron incorporates Aluminum Vapor (AV) Coated Fiber that adds additional stability to help achieve our desired profile and stiffness targets. The AV weave on this newer Iron Series is tighter and thinner than the original Carbon Fiber/Kevlar® (CK) weave. The result is a versatile profile, with reduced overall weight and increased stiffness in the butt section to help prevent shaft ovaling and improve energy transfer.
